Nearly 400 brave souls, including three Bucks County Special Olympics athletes, jumped into the frigid waters of the Delaware River and were “freezing for a reason” on January 30th. Hundreds more were there to watch as individuals and teams spent a few moments in the cold to warm the hearts of thousands. The Second Annual Eastern Polar Bear Plunge benefits more than 20,000 Special Olympics Pennsylvania athletes.
