Second Annual Pittsburgh Steelers Family Fest

Steelers Family Fest

Our athletes had such a wonderful time hanging out at the second annual Pittsburgh Steelers Family Fest on Sunday, August 19th at Heinz Field. Members of our Law Enforcement Torch Run community and athletes from Western PA had the opportunity participate in on-field activities, spend quality time together over dinner, and then line the field to cheer on the Steelers as they entered the field for their practice game.

Athletes Hang Out with Philadelphia Phillies’ Pitchers

Phillies 1

Twenty-five of our athletes and volunteers from Philadelphia and Delaware counties visited Citizens Bank Park on July 1st and had an absolute BLAST hanging out with some Philadelphia Phillies’ pitchers as part of the Los Compadres del Bullpen: The Charitable Arms.

Los Compadres Del Bullpen is a new initiative this season where members of the Phillies Bullpen invite charities of their choosing to Citizens Bank Park. Special thanks are extended to reliever Tommy Hunter for selecting us for this opportunity, and to Aaron Nola, Zach Eflin and Adam Morgan for spending some quality time with us.
