WAYS TO PARTICIPATE:

1.  Individual or Team:

  • Late Registration Fee - after 3/31/2017 - $35
  • Student Rate - $20 up until event day (must show I.D.)
  • Child Rate – Free for children ages 8 and under – use discount code “Child”

      • Note: Cut-off date for t-shirts to be mailed prior to event day is 3/31/17

      • Note: T-shirts will be mailed 3 weeks after the event 5/15/17

CHILD REGISTRATION FEE:

EARLY RACE CHECK-IN/ BAG PICK-UP:

Friday, April 21st                   2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 22nd            11 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Location of tent for both days - Outside the main entrance of Medlar Field.

WALK/RUN ROUTE:

The 5K and 2 Mile Family Fun Walk will begin in the vicinity of the Bryce Jordan Center (BJC) on Curtin Road. The entire course is on the Penn State campus; finishing inside Beaver Stadium after running through the players’ tunnel. One hour has been allotted for the completion of the 3.1 Mile Course. For those who are not up to running or walking the 3.1 Mile Course, a 2 Mile Family Fun Walk is offered. The 2 Mile Family Fun Walk will not be timed; prizes will not be awarded.

SPECTATORS:  

50 yard line seating will be available for all spectators. Spectators will enter the stadium through Gate B at 11:00 a.m. Access to the field will be for participants only.

STROLLERS:

Children's strollers must be parked in the identified area on Curtin Road directly across from the tunnel entrance. Participants running with jogging strollers must vacate their strollers on south side of Curtin Road prior to entering the tunnel. Volunteers will be there to assist you.

PARKING:

Free Parking is available in the Bryce Jordan Center Parking lot, East Lot 44 on the corner of Porter and Curtin Roads.

RESTROOMS:

Restrooms will be available at Medlar Field prior to the race and at the Stadium B entrance.
