Athlete Leadership Program
A series of programs are available which were created to get Special Olympics athletes to become involved in the movement. They are designed to help athletes participate meaningfully in the leadership of the organization and allow athletes to explore opportunities to participate in roles previously considered “non-traditional.”

Healthy Athlete Program
The Healthy Athlete program is designed to help Special Olympics athletes improve their health and fitness which leads to an enhanced sports experience and improved well-being. Clinics are provided periodically at state and sectional level events as well as some local events. Sports Camp
Special Olympics Pennsylvania offers a week long sports camp for athletes which usually occurs in August of each year in western Pennsylvania. Athletes enjoy the usual summer camping experience while participating in sports training in their specific sports as well as an opportunity to try other sports.
