About Lehigh Valley Plunge |
|
More than 600 brave souls, including radio and TV personalities along with Special Olympics PA athletes, jumped into the frigid waters of the Delaware River (at Scott Park in Easton, PA) and were “freezin’ for a reason” on Saturday, January 19, 2013 during the 1st Annual Lehigh Valley Polar Bear Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Pennsylvania (SOPA). In addition, former NBA Star Darryl Dawkins served as the Honorary Plunge Master and former Heavyweight Champion of the World and Easton, PA resident Larry Holmes greeted participants.
