Online registration is now closed. We welcome day of registrations on Friday, May 17th 11am – 7pm during early packet pick-up at the Carnegie Borough Building, Second Floor, 1 Veterans Way, Carnegie, PA 15106 and Sunday, May 19th 7:30am to 8:45am during registration. 2012 Event Recap
On Sunday, May 27, 2012, more than 350 members of law enforcement and runners and walkers of all ages joined Special Olympics Pennsylvania for the inaugural 6K on the Busway Run and Family Fun Walk during Memorial Day Weekend. Presented by UPMC, the Run took place at 9am along the Carnegie Busway. The inaugural 6K on the Busway and its sister event The "Be a fan" Torch Run will combine to raise more than $45,000 for SOPA.
6K participants not only ran in support of Special Olympics athletes, they ran in honor of those fallen men and women of law enforcement and the military. Special thanks are extended to our event sponsors, which can be seen below.
