Every March, Special Olympics Pennsylvania offers its friends the chance to watch the Philadelphia 76ers in a game at the Wells Fargo Center and help spread awareness about its organization at the same time. Enjoy discounted ticket prices (a portion of proceeds will go to Special Olympics Pennsylvania), take in a thrilling game and do something positive for your community.
On March 6, 2011, in addition to a basketball clinic, athletes were involved in pre-game festivities that included a Read To Achieve “Book Exchange” between the 76ers players and SOPA athletes, high five tunnels to welcome players from both teams to the court plus a very special “Starting Five” that were announced at mid-court prior to the game.
