2011 SOPA Leadership Conference -  Building Our Future Together 

The Leadership Conference provides an opportunity once a year to unite the board, staff, volunteer, and athlete leadership of Special Olympics Pennsylvania.  This year’s event afforded attendees an opportunity to assess progress with respect to the organization’s current strategic plan, and lay the foundation for the development of the next strategic plan. 

Our approved strategic plan will continue to guide our efforts through the end of 2012.  We have identified 3 strategic drivers that collectively support our strategic vision for Special Olympics Pennsylvania.  Saturday’s Leadership Conference sessions focused on our current plan and initiatives related to our three interwoven drivers (these 3 drivers are listed below).  On Sunday, we began looking ahead and envisioning SOPA in 2015.  Those discussions will lay the foundation for work that will start next year to put together our next strategic plan.
