The Special Olympics Pennsylvania UNcathlon is BACK!

Pittsburgh, PA – For more than eight years Special Olympics Pennsylvania has held the UNcathlon benefitting the 13,000 Special Olympics PA athletes. Once again this year, it is back at Peters Township High School. The Pittsburgh UNcathlon to benefit Special Olympics Pennsylvania is a one of a kind team challenge event that unleashes the transformative power of teamwork! The UNcathlon embodies the daily goal of Special Olympics... inclusion and acceptance through sport!

The day of the event, participants will take part in up to eight sport challenges that will test speed, strength and endurance in a fun way! Since the UNcathlon is a fundraiser held in honor of Special Olympics Pennsylvania, the final 'event' is “FUNdraising.” This will account for a percentage of the overall score. The funds raised will help to provide training and sport competitions free of charge to our wonderful Special Olympics athletes across the Three Rivers Region.

How does the event work?
You will create your own co-ed team. Special Olympics PA will provide your team with 2-3 Special Olympic athletes.
